Raw material purchasing

We place a high value on having good relationships with our raw material suppliers. It is in our direct contact with the forest owners upon which we base the forest farm’s financial situation, as well as the finances of the sawmill operations.

Our raw materials buyers have extensive experience and are well-established within their purchasing areas. They have a solid know-how of silviculture, for example the preparation of the land, planting, clearance, thinning out, shelterwood system and seed-tree systems. They also have an in-depth knowledge of financial matters relating to forestry and continuously receive information about news and new developments in the industry.
